  • Can I try StairGlide New York's products before I buy?

    Yes, we can arrange for you to try our units at our showroom at your convenience.

  • Will Medicare pay for a stairlift?

    Medicare does not presently cover stairlifts. Unfortunately, they do not consider a stairlift a medical necessity.

  • Will my stairlift work when the power is out?

    Yes, your stairlift is equipped with its own power source. And will work up to 20-30 cycles. A cycle is one up and one down.

  • How long will my stairlift's power source run?

    Approximately 1.5-2.5 hours.

  • What warranties does my stairlift come with?

    Your stairlift has a lifetime warranty on the motor and gearbox, a lifetime warranty on the rail system, and a one-year warranty on all other components. Extended warranties are available.

  • Can you install and uninstall my stairlift if I move?

    Yes, we can very easily remove and reinstall the stairlift at your new home at a reasonable fee!
